Naso Jungle and River Tour - Full day tour
| Location: | Mainland Bocas |

This full day tour introduces you to the Naso way of life, including their food, handicrafts and traditional dances. It also gives you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful rain forest that surrounds these small communities, with a chance to observe the rich fauna that inhabits it. A botanical garden tour demonstrates the Naso’s deep knowledge of the jungle, and the plants they still use as medicine.
The Village
The Naso are one of Panama’s smallest indigenous groups, at around 3,500 people. Their isolation means they still grow much of their own food, use ancient medicinal remedies, and lead traditional lifestyles. They retain their own language, and are delighted to share their rich folk history and traditional dances with visitors. The Naso are also proud of their king - the only monarch in the Western hemisphere.
