Tropical Painting Workshop – With Annick Hasaerts

Annick Hasaerts is a renowned artist based in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro. Born in Brussels, Belgium, Hasaerts is a painter and a ceramicist.
Her art often expresses her fascination with the black and indigenous people of Bocas del Toro, and their beliefs and culture. In addition, much of her work also incorporates tropical landscapes and Caribbean architecture.
During this half-day art workshop and information session, conducted in either Spanish or French, Annick Hasaerts will teach you some of her unique painting techniques and help you explore different tropical color palettes as you create your very own work of art. The session will finish with a visit to Hasaerts´ gallery.
Highlights:
- Instructional painting workshop: Annick Hasaerts will guide you as you learn how to paint and create your own masterpiece to take home.
- Visit the Mar e Iguana gallery: Inspired by the Bocas del Toro region, much of Hasaerts´ work can be seen in her gallery, located in Bocas town on Isla Colón.
