This half day tour takes you up close to some of the Caribbean Sea’s most dramatic wildlife
Jungle Hike to Wizard Beach - Isla Bastimentos - Full Day Tour
This self-guided tour begins with a trek from the town of Old Bank up
to the top of the hill, through green forests inhabited by sloths and
tiny red frogs.
Replenish your energy with a delicious lunch at the Thai restaurant nestled on the hillside, with views towards the other islands across the Bay before continuing on the jungle trail over the hill to the turquoise waters of Wizard Beach. Here you will have plenty of time to bask in the sunshine and refresh yourself in the crashing waves, or take a stroll along the forest’s edge to the mangroves.
The hike back from the beach leads you to Up In The Hill – a café serving organic coffee, juices and chocolate grown on the farm surrounding the property. Enjoy a cup of Panamanian coffee grown in Boquete, or herbal tea from the surrounding gardens, and browse the handmade creams, oils and crafts for sale, before taking a water taxi back to Bocas town.
