This half day tour takes you up close to some of the Caribbean Sea’s most dramatic wildlife
Finca los Monos Botanical Garden
| Location: | Isla Colón |
Overview
Finca Los Monos Botanical Garden is a 23 acre hilltop property with stunning views over the Bocas del Toro archipelago and the lagoon to the mainland.
The Finca is home to large collections of worldwide palms, heliconias, gingers, ornamentals and tropical fruits. Most are labeled with information about their origin, ethnobotanical, medicinal and nutritional values.
Shaded pathways meander under the massive trees where resident howler monkeys reside with their babies. Birds, sloths, iguanas, silky anteaters and other reptiles may be seen.
Visitors enjoy a unique educational experience encountering the flora and fauna in their natural habitat and leave with a sense of awe at the tropical wonders.
