Red Frog Beach

On the north shore of Isla Bastimentos, Red Frog Beach is one of the region’s most beautiful beaches. A small cabana sells drinks and some light food. The surrounding woods offer a pleasant hike, an opportunity to do a bit of birdwatching, and the chance to spot the famous red poison dart frogs hopping along the trail. A water taxi will drop you off on the other side of Isla Bastimentos, and there is a $2 charge to hike the ten-minute trail through the forest to the beach. Arrange for your boat driver to pick you up later.
