This half day tour takes you up close to some of the Caribbean Sea’s most dramatic wildlife
Sandubidi
| Location: | Isla Popa |
"Sandubidi" in Ngöbe means “Point of the Boa.” In local folklore the original settlers of the village were forced to move after a giant boa constrictor ate all of their chickens and other small animals. The small boas found across the island today are said to be the descendants of this huge serpent… but don´t let that put you off!
The welcoming residents will take you on a trail through the surrounding jungle and mangroves, then serve up a delicious traditional lunch with locally grown produce such as yucca, plantain and coconut.
