Hospital Point
Bocas’ best-known reef, Hospital Point, is just minutes from Bocas town, and is suitable for both snorkeling and diving. Hospital Point’s key attraction is its vertical coral wall, draped with lettuce and brain coral, and punctuated with cracks and gullies filled with life. As well as schools of gloriously colored tropical fish, there are astonishing sponge formations and even the odd Nurse shark.
The wall descends to almost 16 meters in depth, and on some days a gentle current will carry divers along the length of it, allowing you to admire the sights as you drift along.
