The Playground

The Playground is aptly named, as this diverse reef in the bay in front of Bocas town is a delightfully fun dive. The shallow sand covered in starfish and conches gives way to the reef, which drops to depths of up to 16 meters, allowing you to observe the different types of coral at different depths. Electric blue parrotfish dart around with surgeon fish and moray eels, and huge barrel sponges rise out of the ocean’s depths. This is also one of the only spots where you may catch a glimpse of a rare sea turtle.
