Wildlife

Every inch of Bocas is crawling with life – from the monkeys, toucans and sloths of the jungle, to the dolphins, tropical fish and colorful coral reefs of the sea.

The brave can hike out to bat-filled caves, while the faint of heart can enjoy a leisurely stroll round a butterfly farm. Rare manatees inhabit the estuaries of the mainland, and watching an endangered baby sea turtle hatch on a beach by moonlight is a magical experience not to be missed.
