INBOCA Environment and Culture Fund
If you have enjoyed your trip to this gorgeous, unique region, why not give something back?
What do we do?
The INBOCA Fund supports local environmental and cultural initiatives across Bocas del Toro. It aims to improve the management and conservation of the province’s fragile protected areas, including Bastimentos National Marine Park, the San San Pond Sak Wetlands and La Amistad International Peace Park. The Fund also supports local community projects, and environmental training and workshops for those working in tourism.
How can you donate?
Several participating hotels across Bocas del Toro have donation cards of different values for sale. The money from the sale of these cards is given to the INBOCA Fund, along with an additional 10% generously donated by the hotel.
Additionally, there are INBOCA Fund collection boxes in the BSTA Tourist Information Center, at the water taxi docks and at several other locations around Bocas town.
