As part of the Geotourism initiative, Solimar has created a nomination process to determine the Geotourism assets Bocas has to offer that reflect the region’s distinctive character. Following the National Geographic Center for Sustainable Tourism’s Geotourism Methodology, Solimar International invites residents and visitors of Bocas del Toro to help tell the story of the communities, landscapes, and places that are important and unique to them.

This nomination process is currently underway and Solimar encourages your participation and feedback. To assist in the identification of the Geotourism assets please nominate your favorite place in Bocas del Toro by filling out the form located on the Discover Bocas del Toro website or stop by any of the Pick up- Drop off locations located through out the Archipelago.
